"Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - Job Opportunity
Special Events Manager

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage three core fundraising events annually for the chapter - Walk, Gala, Golf Tournament
- Manage, evaluate and expand te fundraising programs and volunteer participation within the chapter
- Seek out new corporate sponsors for the chapter and develop plans to explore new revenue opportunities to assist the chapter to reach its $1.5 million annual revenue budget
- Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records for each event held by the chapter

Requirements include, but not limited to:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant fundraising, marketing,strategic planning and coordinating special events experience as well as proficiency in all Microsoft office applications, ability to creat and design basic print materials and experience in database systems and ability to quickly learn new computer applications
- Must have some supervisory experience to recruit and train seasonal temporary and intern employees
- Must have volunteer management experience
