YNPN PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

"YNPN Austin is seeking a project management intern who will support the overall efforts of the YNPN Austin board. This position will play an integral part of the YNPN Board of Directors mission to help young non-profit professionals be successful in the non-profit sector.

The project management intern will perform under the direction of the YNPN board committees: Communications, Programming, Membership, Development and Executive. Duties may vary depending on the needs of the committees, but will include:

• Be present at ll Board and Committee Meetings
• Represent YNPN at monthly social gatherings
• Assist with managing external relationships
• Serve as a liaison to area Universities

An ideal candidate will be seeking internship for college requirement and have a strong interest in the non-profit sector. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. A flexible schedule, allowing for evening and occasional weekends, is required. An internship with YNPN is a fun, rewarding experience with unlimited opportunity to make a positive impact in Austin's non-profit community

The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin (YNPN Austin) is a local community of nonprofit staffers, volunteers, board members and philanthropists promoting the professional development of a professional network, professional development workshops to acquire relevant skills and valuable knowledge, and distribute important news and events to keep our members informed of community happenings. We are a member-driven organization run completely by volunteers
